Black tie charity evening for sustainable water futures.
This special evening, organized by ASOHOM, led by Sovanna Taliercio, Yeter Güngör and ASOHOM Fundraising Committee, brings together art, culture, philanthropy, and meaningful connection in support of sustainable water futures.
The Gala will feature “Woven Currents,” an art exhibition curated by Fang Wang Linulf and Fadila Njoya, showcasing the work of four outstanding Ghanaian artists.
Highlights include Emmanuel Aggrey Tieku’s landmark large‑scale textile installation addressing textile water pollution and ocean pollution, blue‑masked figure work by Sena Burgundy, Ghanaian‑rooted photography by Nana Frimpong Oduro, Evans Torngmortey Akornor’s fishing‑environment‑connected works, and Patrick Tagoe‑Turkson’s intricate assemblages repurposing beach‑collected marine debris such as discarded flip‑flops and ghost nets to explore ecology, cultural memory and environmental justice.
Guests will also experience the live dance “Cry of the River” performance by Vivie’s Dance, live music by Accra International String Quartet, an auction of selected exhibited artworks, raffle lucky draw, and opportunities for meaningful networking.
Blending art, culture and philanthropy, this event invites you to stand for better water stewardship for all.
